After years of abusing my body; starving myself, battling an eating disorder and just generally hating every inch of my being for 5 years I eventually hit my lowest weight at age 19 being 35kgs.
That stage was probably the worst of times and the best of times in my life. My desire for perfection was my ultimate downfall.
Slowly and surely I learned that the life I was living wasn't a happy one. I struggled to make healthier choices and make myself eat to gain weight.
Now I enjoy my life and love healthy eating and living. I can't say I love my body and perhaps I never will. But for once I feel somewhat comfortable in the body I have.
Struggling led me to want to know and learn more about being healthy and enjoying life.
Thus leading me to study Nutrition and Exercise Science at university. All I want is for people to know and understand how treating your body right inside and out can make you feel amazing.
